Orsus

Orsus is a regionally operated business located in New Bern, North Carolina. The word Orsus recalls Ursa Major, the bear-shaped constellation from the night sky. The bear is a symbol of the town's name (New Bern is named after Berne, Switzerland, and both towns take their names from the German word for "bear"). We felt the classic color palette of gold and brown and the stylized bear would lend a sense of strength, prominence and longevity to Orsus in the market place.
